Flu Tracker
This mapping tool is continuously updated and details the development and spread of the H1N1 flu. This map and the data behind it were compiled by Dr. Henry Niman, a biomedical researcher in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, using technology provided by Rhiza Labs and Google. The map was compiled using data from official sources, news reports and user-contributions.

Local Flu Shot Information

Senior High-Dose Flu & Pneumonia Clinics:
Available at no cost for those who have Medicare Part B, Aetna, Humana, and United Mine Workers of America.  Otherwise, it is $45. Pnuemonia vaccine is available for $15

  • Lower Township Senior Center: 9/20 1-4pm
  • Upper Township Senior Center: 9/27 9-11am
  • County Health Department: 10/6 10-12pm and 10/12 10-12pm

Drive Through Flu Clinic:
Kindle Ford autoplaza (accessed off of exit 9 GSP)
October 23 from 9-3pm
Residents 14 years and older

Children and Families Clinic:
Children through 18 years + families
Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood (Glenwood & New York Avenue)
October 5th from 3-5pm

County Health Department
October 19th from 2-6pm

Persons with an allergy to eggs or Thimerosal or persons who have been told by a doctor that they have had Guillain-Barre syndrome need a prescription from their physician to receive a flu vaccine. Preservative-free vaccine will be available for young children.

NJHA is providing regular provider updates on news and information regarding New Jersey's response to the outbreak of 2009 H1N1 flu. The information is gathered by NJHA staff, which is in constant communication with the state Department of Health and Senior Services and other public health and emergency response agencies.
