Freegal Music is a downloadable music service based on the Sony digital music library with over 500,000 songs available.

Freegal Music offers DRM-free music downloads in MP3 format that can play on any MP3 player, including the iPod. Downloaded music can be loaded into iTunes and on both PCs and Macs. Songs don’t expire, you own them!

Library cardholders are limited to 3 downloaded tracks a week and your limit resets on Sunday at midnight.

Freegal Tips
•Listening:
To preview a song, click the circular arrow icon to the left of the song title to hear a snippet of the song.
•Important: If you click “Download Now,” play the song, but do not “Save” it you will use up one download for the week.
•Downloading:
To download a song, click the "Download Now" link to its right. Click "Save" and select somewhere to save it on your home computer or a Flash drive.
•Important: Any time you click on the "Download Now" link, even if you “Cancel” the download, you have used up one of your three downloads for the week!

  Learn a New Language with BYKI Online!

Byki, short for “Before You Know It,” is a rapid learning system employing spaced interval repetition. The Byki learning method takes you through a series of simple steps to memorize words and phrases in a new language, including their meanings and proper pronunciation, in the shortest possible time.

Available for learning over 70 languages, library patrons are able to access the Byki Online system from inside or outside of the library, via the web browser on Windows and Mac computers.  Users will have a variety of high quality learning options that build listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. In addition, Byki includes Advanced Pronunciation Analysis to help users perfect their pronunciation skills. Individual progress tracking and assessment tests help identify areas for improvement and move users in the right direction.

First time users MUST create their log in name/password using a library computer.  Once the account has been created at the library, you can access BYKI from ANY computer.
